An extended genotyping framework for Salmonella enterica serovar Typhi, the cause of human typhoid

Abstract: The population of Salmonella enterica serovar Typhi (S. Typhi), the causative agent of typhoid fever, exhibits limited DNA sequence variation, which complicates efforts to rationally discriminate individual isolates.
