“…According to institutional theory (e.g., Henrysson & Nuur 2021 ; Lee et al, 2020 ; Ranta et al, 2018b , Rosca et al, 2018 ; Scott, 2013 ), the informal institutions encompassed by the cultural dimensions of a country, with specific regard to the role of the entrepreneurial culture related to the CE, seem to actively stimulate the sustainability performance of B-Corporations toward a CE, as measured through the B-Impact Assessment Score developed by B-Lab. Indeed, the empirical findings are in accord with the assumption that sees informal institutions in the form of entrepreneurial culture as critical exogenous factors to build the suitable CE condition in the entrepreneurial ecosystem to stimulate firms to act in a sustainable manner, boosting their effective involvement in the CE-related activities (Pereira et al, 2022 ). This is especially true for B-Corporations, which, as hybrid-purpose business organizations in their business orientation aimed at integrating profit and sustainability goals, are systematically connected with the CE ecosystem, leading the B-Corporation model to be an effective mechanism of social entrepreneurship to dynamically absorb the cultural prominence of an entrepreneurial ecosystem toward a CE and translate it in an effective business action that performs from the development of self-tuning CE settings (Del Giudice et al, 2021b ).…”

“…These quadrants represent the status and trends of research in a knowledge base, for example (Pereira et al. , 2021, 2022): research topics placed in the upper right quadrant are fully developed in terms of their linkage with themes within the quadrant and themes of other quadrants and these themes are important for a knowledge base. The research topics arranged in the lower right quadrant are termed as base theme and these themes would grow as a motor theme in future.…”
