“…On the basis of material research, seven T-section beams were tested for flexural strengthening under different damage degrees. e results showed that the ultimate bearing capacity of beams strengthened with PUC can be significantly improved, and the crack width of strengthened beams can be significantly reduced [16]. Yang et al studied the performance of hollow slab bridges strengthened with polyurethane concrete.…”

“…By pouring PUC material at about the thickness of 25 mm onto the bottom of a concrete beam or onto the side of a concrete column, the concrete beam and the column will be subjected to force in coordination with the concrete beam and the column. This reinforcement method is between the external reinforcement method and the increasing section method, but the increased area of the cross-section is small, which has little effect on the structural appearance and the bridge clearance; this consequently has a good reinforcement effect [1][2][3][4]. Compared with traditional reinforcing methods, this method has the advantages of having strong adhesion to the concrete as well as good fluidity, and it is environmentally friendly, light weight, high in toughness, and easy for use in construction, etc.…”

“…Adding cement into PU leads to polyurethane cement (PUC), which has the advantages of high compressive strength, excellent fluidity, environmental friendliness, low weight and easy construction. Therefore, PUC has been gradually applied for the reinforcement of highways and bridges and in the construction industry [1][2][3][4][5].…”
