An Experimental Study on Hydro-Elasticity in Sloshing

Abstract: This research presents an experimental investigation on hydro-elasticity in sloshing experiment. Two models were tested. One of the models is ordinary, which is considered to be rigid wall made of plexi-glass. The other model has a flexible wall made of stainless steel. The two models were operated with identical excitation so that the influence of the elasticity can be detected. Four different filling levels were tested.
