Abstract:Research into the flow mechanisms and heat transfer characteristics of two-dimensional supersonic cooling films has been extensive, yet studies on supersonic conical cooling films remain scarce. This study examined the flow characteristics and mechanisms of supersonic conical cooling film under varying ratios of static pressure (RSPs) using nanoparticle planar laser scattering and particle image velocimetry techniques. The mainstream Mach number was Ma∞=3.8, and the supersonic conical cooling film was tangenti… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
