An Experimental Evaluation of Debayering Algorithms on GPUs for Recording Panoramic Video in Real-Time

Abstract: Modern video cameras often only capture a single color per pixel in a single pass operation. This process is called ltering, where pixels are ltered through a color lter array, and the Bayer lter is perhaps the most common lter used today. This means that the missing color channels must be restored in the image or the video frame in a post-processing step, i.e., a process referred to as debayering. In a live video scenario, this operation must be performed eciently in order to output each video frame in real-t… Show more

“…At one time, "white porcelain" with high whiteness was also produced in this kiln, especially some of the porcelains from luochong kiln. The whiteness value reached more than 70 degrees, which was close to the whiteness value of white porcelain of Ding kiln at that time [10].…”

“…When the change of the original image is not obvious, due to the neighborhood similarity of the processed image, the matching and tracking results of the gray-scale correlation algorithm generally will not produce errors. 8 However, in the target tracking process, the effects of reflections on the water surface, wide-angle distortion of the image, and noise interference during imaging will greatly affect the collected target information. Under the influence of noise, some pixels with their own background will be detected as moving areas in the detection results, or some areas in the moving target may be missed.…”

“…By using the head-mounted device to unfold the visual images of all parties in real time, the user can independently select the images to be viewed to achieve an "immersive" experience. On this basis, VR panoramic images have been used in medical, film, entertainment, education and other fields; the second part is VR video [10] research. VR video, as a combination of video information and computer technology, produces a new way.…”
