An experience report on architecture development

Abstract

Ab s t rac tThere i s relatively little information o n the process that should be taken t o derive a software architecture. In this paper, we propose a process for the development of software architectures f o r large systems and describe our experiences in the development of an architecture for distributed systems that helped in defining this process.
