Abstract:This research offers a new composite-revamping method for railway bridges. It assumes that the composite remodeling process of existing steel bridges has no specific fissure damages or serious corrosion, and effectively makes use of relatively new materials. The effects of noise reduction and improved stiffness were further confirmed through hammer-impact tests (vibration and noise measurement tests) in order to prove the efficacy of the composite remodeling.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
