An Evaluation of an OS-Based Coherence Scheme for Tiled CMPs

Abstract: The interconnect mechanisms (shared bus or crossbar) used in current chip-multiprocessors (CMPs) are expected to become a bottleneck that prevents these architectures from scaling to a larger number of cores.
