An energy balance and mobility prediction clustering algrithm for large-scale UAV ad hoc networks

Abstract: Creating a clustering structure is considered the performance of radio frequency (RF) stealth for data link in the battlefield environment and the dynamic topology characteristic for larger-scale unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) ad hoc networks. This problem is of a great importance-to get low intercept probability of the data link and low randomness of clustering structure. An energy balance and mobility prediction (EBMP) clustering algorithm is proposed. In the initial clustering stage, the power management for… Show more

“…Rodrigues et al [11] addressed the high mobility of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) nodes by predicting node locations to calculate contact duration between nodes. They measured uncertainty values by assessing the progress of a node's flight plan using neighbors, integrating these factors to improve GPSR.…”

“…Over the most recent couple of years, mobile adhoc networks have been effectively utilized in day to day applications and military applications. Their capacity to selfput together and self-adjust, without the requirement for a fundamental framework, leads their quick arrangement in nonordinary situations, such as calamity recuperation [9]. All nodes MANETs have similar features & capabilities of mobility.…”
