Abstract:Confirmed cases and COVID-19-related deaths during the four waves (from 2020 to mid-2021) in Hong Kong are comparatively low and have been attributed to importation from abroad. Thus, the government claims that its efforts have been effective in coping with this disease. However, the public observes other dimensions of this claim.
