“…According to Ahmad and Afthanorhan , [100], PLS-SEM analysis finds the importance of the constructs by extracting the estimation of the direct effect, non-direct effect and the total number of relationships between the model constructs. For Colicev et al, [101], the IPMA is an important analysis method to develop the variables with high performance and current low performance in the model. Also, this type of analysis helps organisations to recognise the high constructs' performance to give these constructs consideration in the future and to identify the low constructs' performance to enhance future performance [102].…”

“…Because this study aims to build knowledge on the existing state-of-the-art, we identify items from the literature to measure the constructs of SI and OP. We investigate the SI construct through the following measures: collaborative work with key suppliers in product and process innovations (SI1) (De Giovanni et al , 2013), integrated efforts with key suppliers to develop new technologies (SI2) (Colicev et al , 2016), sharing of production planning scheduling (SI3) (Flynn et al , 2010), information sharing with suppliers through a coordinated information system (SI4) (Huo, 2012) and key suppliers’ involvement in the implementation of logistics networks (SI5) (Colicev et al , 2016). By using these variables, SI represents a measure of the firm’s capacity to integrate with suppliers while innovation components entirely push the integration.…”

“…Das et al (2006) suggest that SI begins with more internal practices (e.g. Wagner, 2003; Colicev et al , 2016) but then proceeds to more external integration initiatives such as inter-firm collaborations. SI is considered an essential component of an SC strategy (e.g.…”
