An electrochemical pathway to prepare circular planar 90Sr/90Y sources for the calibration of surface contamination monitors

Abstract: In this communication, we describe a novel method to prepare circular planar 90 Sr/ 90 Y sources (/ = 16 mm) exploiting the intrinsic properties of the anodized titanium to electro-deposit predicted quantity of 90 Sr activity from an aqueous solution.
