Abstract:Electrochemical impedance spectra of NiO-NiFe204-Cu cermet anodes in alumina-saturated molten cryolite at anodic potentials above the decomposition potential of alumina exhibited a loop with a characteristic frequency of about 1 Hz. A similar feature was observed using platinum anodes under the same experimental conditions. Analysis of these data suggests the loop was due to gas bubbling. Features associated with charge-transfer processes were not sufficiently resolved to determine the corrosion properties of … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
