An Efficient String Matching Algorithm Using Bidirectional and Parallel Processing Structure for Intrusion Detection System

Abstract: Rapid growth of internet applications has increased the importance of intrusion detection system (IDS) performance. String matching is the most computation-consuming task in IDS.
