Abstract:Bdellovibrio bacteriovoruspreys upon other Gram-negative bacteria. This obligate predator is recognized as a living antibiotic to control the rising problem of antibiotic resistance. Plaque forming units (PFU) counting is commonly used to determine the viable numbers ofB. bacteriovorus.
