An efficient method for flux weakening control of an induction motor drive system

Abstract: The paper presents a speed-sensorless induction motor drive system operated into deep flux weakening region. An efficient direct control method based on the stator flux control is detailed. The speed-sensorless proposed algorithm is based on the induction motor's mathematic model and is suitable for low cost industrial applications.
