An EEG Device for Monitoring Seizure Discharges

Abstract: SUMMARY A simple device, the Cerebral Function Monitor (CFM), for continuous monitoring of EEG activity over long periods without supervision, has been found of value to establish the timing and frequency of seizure discharges. The CFM also monitors the state of the recording electrodes indicating when any movement occurs, thus allowing recognition of clinical events accompanying the discharges.
