An easily fabricated pH cell

Abstract: A convenient pH cell has been constructed for use in titration experiments where the solution should be protected from the air. The cell has a large opening that will accomodate both a buret and electrode. It also aides sample introduction. The cell also has the advantage of needing only about 5 ml of initial solution. An additional 40 ml of titrant can be added. Nitrogen or another gas may be placed over the sample solution.
