In this article, an intelligent public transportation system based on ZigBee 3.0 technology is proposed after researching conditions of recent public transportation systems that mostly adopt GPS or Beidou satellite positioning technology, 3G/4G communication technology and GIS technology. This system includes the principle and design of system architecture, design of intelligent public transportation system network, the solution of moving-bus positioning, the auto-announce function and design of intelligent public transportation stop board. Contrasted with recent bus systems, this system has the virtue of low construction cost, low running cost, low implementation difficulty and high intelligent level. ZigBee 3.0 protocol is compatible with Wi-Fi, too. Without additional ZigBee chip in smart phones, the intelligent public transportation system based on ZigBee 3.0 can interconnect with smart phones directly. It will break the barrier between citizens and intelligent public transportation systems, and the real intelligence can be realized.

Abstract-Due to the energy and resource constraints of a wireless sensor node in a wireless sensor network (WSN), WSNs adequately need effective mechanisms for data forwarding to enhance the energy efficiency in networks. To solve this problem, Multipath routing protocols are often used to balance the network energy consumption. In this paper, we propose an energy efficient multipath routing algorithm (EEMR) for WSN that considers wireless interference and load balancing. The algorithm establishes multiple paths with minimum interference between the source node and the destination node. In this way, the quality of wireless communication is improved because the effects of wireless interference can be reduced as much as possible. Meanwhile, the proposed algorithm allocates traffic load reasonably according to the total link cost of each path, which can prolong network lifetime. Simulation results show that the proposed routing algorithm achieves lower energy cost and longer network lifetime than that in the literature.

This paper presents a kind of message conversion method between wired/wireless hybrid network, aiming at meeting the encapsulation and transmission application requirements of Building Automation and Control network (BACnet) protocol messages in ZigBee network. It also proposes a kind of compatible frame structure and addressing method which is specific to wired/wireless network hybrid transmission. It discusses a design of BACnet/ZigBee wireless temperature sensor node from the point of software and hardware, and completes node software and hardware design of BACnet/ZigBee wireless temperature sensor by the embedded system Lm3s6911+, and bidirectional parsing, encapsulating, addressing, sending and receiving process between ZigBee messages and BACnet Ethernet messages are realized. This solution also can extend the current transmission and application range of BACnet messages, and provide an effective way to wired/wireless network hybrid transmission of building automation data.
