An Automated Method to Estimate Femoral Shape and Mineral Mass

Abstract: Medical assessment of bone health often uses quantitative computed tomography (QCT) scans and requires a reliable segmentation of bone geometry from surrounding tissues for a quick determination of bone mineral mass.
