An Authentication Protocol for Lightweight NFC Mobile Sensors Payment

Abstract: Following the White Paper HCE that Google released in August 2014, it was expected that NFC mobile phone payment would cause a wave of security discussion. After all, Android HCE will allow anyone to develop his own payment service on the Android platform to get rid of restriction from telecommunications, financial industries, or third party trust centers. On this security mechanism observation period, we propose a lightweight authentication protocol on NFC mobile sensors payment. Through introducing this secu… Show more

“…Based on previous studies [15] discussed on the security as the main problem in RFID system since the communication between RFID components is wireless which is still demand a better solution for authentication and detection. Furthermore, RFID is lack of authentication feature of security [16] and vulnerabilities have been found in RFID tagging phase [17], which lead to Man-in-the-middle attack.…”

“…Ambient computing involved many disciplines such as context aware computing, mobile computing and so on. Far away from the classic scheme of interaction, Near Field Communications (NFC) proposes an original communication between the physical and the virtual world which is integrated in several fields such as Mpayment [1]. NFC is a contactless radio technology that can exchange data between two devices within a few centimeters of each other.…”
