An audit of referral practice for patients with impacted palatal canines and the impact of referral guidelines

Abstract: Objective To assess referral practice for patients presenting with impacted palatal maxillary canines, and to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of referral guidelines. Design Prospective clinical audit. Setting Southend and Basildon district general hospitals.
