An atypical presentation of swelling in the floor of the mouth – A case report

Abstract: Adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) is a neoplasm arising from salivary gland epithelium that affects commonly minor salivary glands, among which palate being the most common site. ACC accounts for about 1% of malignancies that do affect the head and neck region. It usually affects the individuals in the 5 th and 6 th decade of life.
