Abstract: Nontyphoidal Salmonella commonly induces intestinal infections; however, spondylitis arising from this bacterium is exceedingly rare. A comprehensive review of the clinical attributes of nontyphoidal Salmonella-induced spondylitis in adult populations is lacking in the literature. We report a case of an 83-year-old female who presented with a fever lasting three days, accompanied by anorexia and pervasive malaise.
