An Atypical Case of Emphysematous Cystitis in a Young Non-Diabetic Patient

Abstract: Emphysematous cystitis is a rare, but severe infection of the urinary tract which is mostly found in older women with uncontrolled diabetes. A 34-year-old non-diabetic male with a past medical history of refractory hepatic encephalopathy presented with fever and increased lower abdominal pain for 1 day.
