Abstract:In the digital age, social media technology has an important role as a communication platform for interpersonal interactions in the online virtual world. In addition, social media has impacted product exchange behavior in both vendors and buyers, with a shift from the traditional sales model to communication between parties via social media. Social media marketing, an online means of buying, selling, and exchanging goods and services, is increasingly popular due to convenience, speed, and greater choices. This… Show more
“…Fragmentation is also seen in the instructional material of instructors. It is important to break down complex concepts into a series of small knowledge points that can be taught step-by-step with the use of films and animations [3]. A vast number of teaching materials are needed for Chinese students to learn English in MOOCs since English is a foreign language [4].…”
The selection of MOOC teaching resources is influenced by diversified resource positioning methods, which leads to low index efficiency of resource mining. Therefore, this paper proposes a multiresource mining method based on association rules to collect the learning behavior data of MOOC users and establish the MOOC teaching resource warehouse. Aiming at the attribute set of information association positioning, the association rules of teaching resources are designed. In addition, the association rules are combined with the shortest path scheduling scheme of teaching resources to establish the location and mining of diversified MOOC teaching-associated resources. Finally, the clustering method is used to process the results of teaching resource mining and complete the clustering of diversified teaching resources. Experimental results show that the index time required by the proposed mining method is 0.1 s, which is only 1/6 of other resource mining methods.

“…Forrest and colleagues (2018) articulate a new definition of innovation, which represents a set of one activity or several that are necessary for the proposal and manufacture of such a market offer that leads to exceptionally added value for a firm when compared to other activities that are taking place at the same time in the same economic sector. Put simply, innovation refers to all associated actions that are needed for the introduction and market presentation of either a much-improved product or an original offer, where, of course, finding particular patterns of demand and supply is critically important (Tanantong & Ramjan, 2021). Although Forrest et al (2018) only recently rephrased the concept of innovation, how important innovation is has indeed been well recognized since at least the time of Adam Smith (1776).…”
Section: The Competitive Dynamics Of the Marketmentioning
By utilizing systems methodology and thinking logic, this paper derives a general theorem to characterize when and how a market signals for additional competition from market players. Then, it establishes conditions for when government policies actually work in real life, where firms' performances are effectively promoted no matter what offer the firms produce. Among others, the established conditions include improving managerial and resource efficiencies, promoting information and knowledge sharing, joining in organizational networks, forming manufacturing agglomerations, and localizing economic policies. By using the difference-in-difference method, a real-life case analysis with data from China is used to confirm the six formal propositions established systemically in this paper. In the conclusion section, recommendations for policy makers, such as government officers, are provided regarding when and how adopted policies will potentially produce anticipated results, while directions and unsettled questions are also posted for the forthcoming academic endeavors.
“…Herawan et al (2012) proposed an SLP-Growth algorithm to identify meaningful association rules for engineering students who suffer from examination anxieties. Tanantong and Ramjan (2021) used the Apriori algorithm to extract valuable insights related to demand and supply patterns from social media data in Thailand. The study aimed to leverage social media's rich and diverse content to gain insights into consumer preferences and market trends to improve social media marketing.…”
This article presents a market basket analysis of a health food store in Thailand. The analysis identifies data attributes that frequently occur together in the dataset. Frequent occurrences of data attributes representing customer purchasing behaviors are extracted as association rules using the frequent pattern growth algorithm. The generated associations are evaluated using standard measures based on occurrence counts and an additional financial measure. Marketing strategies in the form of cross-selling pairs of specific products are then designed based on the data attributes appearing in the significant associations. The cross-selling products are offered at discounted prices and promoted in marketing campaigns. A break-even analysis is performed to estimate the required number of additional sales volumes from each marketing campaign to compensate for the discounted prices. The presented use case demonstrates the effectiveness of extending the market basket analysis to include a financial measure that can lead to practical marketing campaigns.
