This paper puts forward the concept of supply chain in short-life-cycle products and analyses the character of this type of supply chain. Then previous researches on short-life-cycle product supply chain are reviewed, and the management problems that exist in supply chain modeling are discussed. According to the character of this supply chain and on the basis of research review on supply chain modeling, a composite modeling technique for simulation with the virtue of Petri net and Object-oriented modeling is proposed. Following the modeling steps, major processes on each level of the supply chain system are set out, and finally a composite model for the system level is established as an example. The result can be used to simulate the short-life-cycle product supply chain, optimize the performance and enhance the speed of supply chain response. At last, the paper gives proposal for model solution.
