An appendiceal leiomyoma in a child with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome

Abstract: Children with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) are at an increased risk for lymphoproliferative and neoplastic disorders. Included among these are smooth muscle neoplasms such as leiomyomas and leiomyosarcomas.
