An anatomical clinical approach for management failed midurethral sling surgery

Abstract

[2][3][4] | PATHOGENESIS OF SUIThe causation of SUI is purely mechanical. 5 With reference to Figure 1, weak pubourethral ligaments (PULs) cannot support the urethra and are stretched to "L during coughing by the action of the posterior muscle forces, levator plate (LP)/conjoint longitudinal muscle of the anus (LMA), which pull down the proximal vagina, bladder base and trigone to open the urethra.
