Abstract:R ICE is the most widely cultivated cereal crop in tropical and subtropical regions around the globe. Rice is also the most commonly ingested staple food by a large portion of the global population. A line × tester experiment was conducted during 2018 and 2019 seasons to evaluate the combining ability, gene action, and heterosis for its yield characters.
