“…The communication system left a lot to be desired concerning disability mainstreaming and inclusion of PWDs. While commendable efforts were done through electronic and print media in creating demand generation for vaccination as well as the use of Billboards, PWDs were not homogenous (Mtetwa & Nyikahadzoi, 2013) but, unique in their different impairments. The communication strategy adopted by Zimbabwe lacked sensitivity to persons with visual impairments as well as those with hearing impairments.…”
