This paper sheds light on investigating the lexical cohesion on an Indonesian singer song entitled Coke Bottle by Agnez Mo. Lexical cohesion constitutes linguistic devices that help to create cohesiveness of the text. Lexical cohesion occurs when two words or more in a text are semantically related somehow – in other words, they are related in terms of their meaning. This study's design was a descriptive qualitative that attempted to elaborate the discourse analysis about lexical cohesion in Coke Bottle song by Agnez Mo. Some steps were conducted to collect the data, firstly, the lyrics that become the documentation were collected by the researcher from lyrics.com, secondly the researcher read the lyrics to understand the text. Thirdly, marking some words included as lexical cohesions in which they will be the real data of this study. The findings revealed that reiteration and collocation are found in the song, but the antonym that is part of reiteration is absent. Above all, repetition is the most commonly used in this song, especially the word I. This seems to indicate that the songwriter tried to make the song's lyrics match the music's beat, so the song became easy listening, and the listeners can enjoy the music.

Nowadays, all about K-Pop (Korean Pop) widely known in the world, South Korea’s music industry is known to have a music chart system that is very influential on the career and achievement of a singer. The system is to measure the success of a group or solo singer when they release a song. Some of the terms that are known by most K-Pop fans are real-time all-kill (RAK) certificates, certified all-kill (CAK), and perfect all-kill (PAK). Songs that receive RAK, CAK, or PAK certificates, can be interpreted as best-selling songs played on digital music services in Korea. This is an interpreting analysis of IU’s hit songs taken from 2011 until 2020, aimed to see what linguistic factors that makes them hit and achieve PAK. This research used a qualitative method. This research concluded 8 from 15 of IU songs make it achieve PAK because of numerous factors such as: the music, the instrument, the singing style, and the lyric with figurative languages. In academic environments, teacher may teach the students how to analyze song lyric because it is useful to teach vocabulary, idiom, and also elements of poetry. This study aims to examine the use of lexical elements in kid talks. Mila Stauffer is a four-year-old celebrity who has four million followers on her Instagram account. Mila is known as a child who frequently shares her thoughts about particular topics, expressively, and comprehensively. The researchers are interested in Mila Stauffer because her Instagram videos have many viewers and comments. Numerous Instagram users also like her because she is different from the children that have the same age as her. In order to analyze Mila’s opinion about some topics through videos, lexical cohesion played an important role in the present study. To obtain an in-depth study of lexical cohesion, this study then analyzed ten Instagram videos with the available subtitle. The data of the study were collected through the Instagram account, Kcstauffer. The researchers applied a quantitative method in analyzing the lexical cohesion. Furthermore, the lexical cohesion analysis proposed by Halliday & Hasan has been used in the present study. The study revealed that, as analysed from Mila’s talk, there are differences between kids and adults in terms of the use of repetition. Further, repetition plays an important role in kids talk; one of which is to achieve cohesiveness in speaking. On the other hand, the least lexical cohesive devices used in a kid talk is superordinate.
