An Analysis of Electricity Generation With Renewable Resources in Germany

Abstract: Germany has an experience of renewable energy policies that encourages their usage, achieving technological migration and the redesign of its power generation matrix, achieving 112 GW of renewable resources at 2017. The research presents an analysis between the energy policies and the electricity statistics, the results forecast a date in which they will reach the goal of 50% of annual generation of total electric power by renewable sources, a goal set in 2012.

“…Stream 2: Saturated liquid solution with a higher concentration of LiBr in water. (7) Due to the extensive design possibilities, there are many considerations regarding the steam state in which the refrigerant exits the generator. For this model, we adopt the consideration presented by Wonchala et al [28], where the generator refrigerant outlet temperature is considered to be equal to the equilibrium temperature of the weak solution:…”

“…Solar thermal cooling systems using absorption cooling are so far relatively small technologies, but the market is growing as costs come down. By the end of 2015, an estimated 1350 solar thermal cooling systems had been installed worldwide, of which about 80% were in Europe, mainly in Spain, Germany, and Italy [1,[6][7][8]. Costs for air conditioning by absorption with solar collectors have been reduced by more than half since 2007, largely due to the standardization of equipment, although they have not decreased as rapidly as solar photovoltaics [9,10].…”

“…In addition, the release of greenhouse gases and other pollutants from these fuels pollutes the atmosphere. Around the world, efforts are being undertaken to lessen this issue and to focus more on generating energy from renewable sources [1][2][3]. Nowadays, wind-energy is widely regarded as a financially feasible way to boost energy production while lowering air pollution and global warming.…”

“…Having quality, economical, and ecological electrical energy is a current challenge for many countries since it can solve some of humanity's problems and the environment [1]. The expansion of renewable energy sources is a step forward in the sustainable use of available natural resources in different countries [2], [3]. Internationally, several programs have been established as tools to encourage countries to use the potential of renewable natural resources to diversify their energy matrix.…”
