Cybercrime and computer-related incidents are becoming more prevalent and common, resulting in billions of dollars in damages. To address these crimes and scams, there is an urgent need to build digital forensics training programme, that will equip relevant professionals to investigate computer crime and events efficiently. There is presently no standard that governs the development of an academic program’s digital forensics curriculum. This study extensively investigates prior work on curriculum design in digital forensics as well as existing computer forensics course offered at the first is the Community College in Buraidah, and the second is the Community College in Unaizah namely, “Cyber Security Diploma” The Cyber Security Diploma is offered in both colleges, the Community College in Buraidah and Unaizah, and the diploma is at the third level of the course “Computer Forensic Analysis,” which is the focus of the research topic. Interviews were conducted with both digital forensic trainers and practitioners, and the findings were examined in order to identify and assess the skills and knowledge required by the industry and law enforcement agencies for their digital forensic examiners. Hands-on training may be delivered by constructing and managing a student laboratory specifically designed for digital forensic examination instruction. A laboratory can be outfitted with a wide range of software solutions, ranging from commercial investigation suites to free command line tools. Similarly, the forensic workstations that execute the software might be supplied by the vendor as stand-alone devices or assembled from separate components in-house. Building and administering a student lab successfully can be a daunting task, but it can also be done on a little budget as long as the focus stays on student achievement.

This research work was focused on finding the affected indicators on the barriers to use Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in Sri Lankan Secondary Education System. It also explores a framework to implement ICT in schools overcoming these barriers. In particular, it examined the viewpoint of teachers and principals on the integration of ICT into the schools’ policy in the Western Province of Sri Lanka. Interviews were conducted for 60 secondary school principals and a questionnaire base survey was conducted for 500 teachers of several schools selected from the above pool. What materialized from the analysis showed that, infrastructure facilities, any policies related to the school, Planning and usage of ICT in teaching and learning, Current views held by principals as well as teachers regarding their ICT competencies, Teacher’s fluency of ICT, the perceived viewpoint of teachers and principals regarding the influence and subsequent function of ICT in education has an influence on the magnitude of ICT usage in schools. According to the analyzed data, a framework was designed to make readiness and maintain smooth Teaching Learning system in secondary schools. Finally, the research has collected feedback from involved parties during the implementation process to evaluate competency of the suggested framework.

ChatGPT, a Large Language Model (LLM) utilizing Natural Language Processing (NLP), has caused concerns about its impact on job sectors, including cybersecurity. This study assesses ChatGPT’s impacts in non-managerial cybersecurity roles using the NICE Framework and Technological Displacement theory. It also explores its potential to pass top cybersecurity certification exams. Findings reveal ChatGPT’s promise to streamline some jobs, especially those requiring memorization. Moreover, this paper highlights ChatGPT’s challenges and limitations, such as ethical implications, LLM limitations, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) security. The study suggests that LLMs like ChatGPT could transform the cybersecurity landscape, causing job losses, skill obsolescence, labor market shifts, and mixed socioeconomic impacts. A shift in focus from memorization to critical thinking, and collaboration between LLM developers and cybersecurity professionals, is recommended.
