An Absolute Calculation ofK + → π + π 0
Abstract: Starting with the usual Cabibbo form of the current-current theory of weak interactions, an absolute r a t e for Kt -ntaO i s calculated. Accepting the criticism of Lee against the softpion analysis, we analyze here the soft-kaon limit. The extrapolation to the physical point i s then performed using a recent suggestion of Okubo and Mathur.
