Abstract:Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is one of the major neurodegenerative disorders alongside Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease. It is a progressive disorder that involves degeneration of motor system at all levels, leading to muscle weakness and fatal course.
