Amylin and Selective Glucoregulatory Peptide Alterations during Prolonged Exercise

Abstract: In a postprandial state, prolonged exercise stimulates glucagon and cortisol increases that are associated with stable blood glucose and leptin concentrations; however, similar to postprandial state control condition, insulin, C-peptide, and amylin concentrations decline.
