Ammonia Detoxication in Sheep During Constant or Limited Access to Feed with Varied Quantity and Quality of Nitrogen Compounds

Abstract: Summary Experiments were conducted on wethers weighing 30 to 40 kg., using three different rations: I ‐ control (15.6 % crude protein in dry matter), II ‐low‐protein (8.6 % c. p. in d. m.) and III ‐ urea (15.5 % c. p. in d. m., urea‐N constituting 45 % of the total‐N).
