“…According to the present systematic review and meta-analysis, theophylline/aminophylline was effective in reducing pain severity after PDPH onset. These methylxanthines are superior to acetaminophen [ 24 ], conservative treatment (comprising caffeine) [ 30 ], and placebo for pain relief in PDPH.
