Abstract: Study design: Retrospective, observational study in five consecutive cases. Objectives: The management of heterotopic ossification (HO), a frequent complication after spinal cord injury (SCI) and after orthopaedic surgery, is a therapeutic challenge with high recurrence rates of over 50%.
