Amino-acid modulated hierarchical In/H-Beta zeolites for selective catalytic reduction of NO with CH4 in the presence of H2O and SO2

Abstract: Mesoporous In/H-Beta-P synthesized using proline exhibits the highest NOx removal efficiency and stability in excess oxygen and poisonous SO2 and H2O.

“…These results implied that the high In‐OH signal intensity was probably derived from oxide surfaces other than the framework In. This speculation was further supported by the results of the O1s energy spectrum (Figure 1J), showing that the In‐beta‐TEAOH contained the most non‐lattice oxygen other than water with respect to In‐OH [14] . In contrast to the In3d signal peak in In 2 O 3 @SiO 2 concerning the oxide, the In‐beta‐TEAOH showed a significant high‐energy shift, which corresponded to the blue shift in the UV/Vis spectra of the oxide in mesopores (Figure 1K).…”

These results could be attributed to the restricted sintering of the In 2 O 3 nanoparticles present in the mesopores.…”

“…The gas-phase partial oxidation of CH 4 has been reported using N 2 O, O 2 , and H 2 O as oxidants. [330][331][332][333][334][335][336][337] However, most reactions can only proceed at relatively high temperatures. For instance, recently, Yamasaki et al reported the selective conversion of CH 4 by applying higher concentrations of reactants.…”

“…In the past years, several non-centrosymmetric 2D materials exhibiting both electrical/optical anisotropy and nonlinearity have been reported, such as GeSe [17] and NbOI 2 . [18] However, there are several challenges that hinder the applications of these materials in the field of optoelectronic devices, such as inadequate air stability, low optoelectronic anisotropy ratio (always <3) [19] and low nonlinear optical susceptibility.…”
