“…GO exhibits the typical (002) reflection at 2u = 11.54 and the corresponding interlayer distance is calculated to be 0.766 nm, which is consistent with the previous works [31][32][33][34]. The reason that the d spacing value is significantly higher than that of graphite (0.337 nm) may be due to the intercalation of the water molecule and oxygen containing functional groups, such as carboxyl, hydroxyl and epoxide, on both sides and edges of graphene nanosheets [23,35,36]. Meanwhile, as shown in Fig.…”

“…3 for GO, the peak at 1084 cm -1 is attributed to the (C-O) stretching, peak at 1387 cm -1 is attributed to the (C-O) bending, band at 1627 cm -1 is assigned to vibrations of the carbon-carbon double bond, small band at 1726 cm -1 is assigned to the ketone double bond vibrations (C=O), peak at 2362 cm -1 is attributed to the carboxylic group, peaks at 2849 cm -1 and 2921 cm -1 are attributed to the (C-H) bending vibrations and O-H) peak is also seen at 3434 cm -1 position [11][12][13].…”

“…5, the GO-G nanocomposites have less thermal stability than GO. Because nanocomposite GO-G, in addition to the withdrawal of CO 2 gas from the molecular structure, structure of nanocomposite with increasing temperature decomposed and nitrogen gas, carbon dioxide gas, etc., will be withdrawal from the molecule of nanocomposite GO-G [13][14][15].…”

“…The peaks of GO centered at 1050, 1220 (1320), 1620, 1720, and 3400 cm À1 were attributed to the C-O-C, C-OH, C]C, C]O, O-H functionalities, respectively, which are consistent with their characteristic vibration absorption peaks. 36 Aer reduction, the peaks for all of the oxygencontaining groups become weak or nearly absent for SRGO and CRGO compared with GO, indicating massive elimination of the oxygen-containing groups during the reduction treatment.…”

“…7(b)-(d) show that the graphite oxide peak, as indicated by the broad peak between 2q of 20 and 30 , which is the (100) diffraction peaks of graphite. 44,45 Raman spectroscopy was used to obtain more information about the structure of the synthesized graphene. The Raman spectra of NMGM, GO, SRGO and CRGO are associated with a typical D band and G band around 1360 cm À1 and 1580 cm À1 , respectively (as shown in Fig.…”
