Amenorrhea and elevated βhuman chorionic gonadotropin of unknown origin: An unexpected location of choriocarcinoma

Abstract: Highlights Amenorrhea and elevated β-hCG could result from an extra genital disease. Choriocarcinoma may originate primarily in the lungs. Adjuvant chemotherapy after surgery significantly improves prognosis.
