In the criminology area, to detain the serial criminal, the forthcoming serial crime time, distance, and criminal's biography are essential keys. The main concern of this study is on the upcoming serial crime distance, time, and suspect biographies such as age and nationality. In conjunction with having time delays, the dynamic classifier, like Time Delay Neural Network (TDNN) utilized to perform nonlinear techniques-based predictions. The TDNN classifier system, like Back Propagation Through Time (BPTT) and Nonlinear Autoregressive with Exogenous Input (NARX) are two prominent examples. However, BPTT and NARX techniques are unable to identify the dynamic system by using single-activation functions due to producing lower accuracy. Hence, during the training phase, the direct minimization of the TDNN error can further enhance the single activation function. Thus, this work introduces an enhanced NARX (eNARX) model based on the proposed activation functions of SiRBF via fusion of two functions of the hyperbolic tangent (Tansig) and Radial Basis Function (RBF), in the same hidden layer. If a fusion of activation functions can affect the TDNN error minimization, then fusing of the Tansig and RBF functions can produce a precise prediction for crime spatiotemporal. To evaluate the proposed technique and compared it with existing NARX and BPTT, we utilized five time-series datasets, namely, Dow Jones Index, Monthly River flow in cubic meters per second, Daily temperature, and UKM-PDRM datasets namely, "Suspect & Capture" and "Crime Plotting." The analysis of the results demonstrated that the proposed eNARX produce higher accuracy in comparison to other techniques of NARX and BPTT. Consequently, the proposed technique provides more effective results for the prediction of commercial serial crime.

Pendidikan hafazan al-Quran yang menjadi salah satu cabang ilmu yang penting dalam kehidupan umat Islam kini. Pemeliharaan terhadap kesucian al-Quran akan meningkatkan lagi keimanan dan ketakwaan individu terhadap Allah SWT dan diterjemahkan melalui akal fikiran dan tindakan. Sehingga kini banyak teknik yang digunakan bagi tujuan pemeliharaan tersebut baik dari peringkat usia muda hingga dewasa. Oleh itu, objektif utama kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji teknik hafazan al-Quran peringkat pra sekolah dalam aplikasi digital. Metodologi penyelidikan yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif melalui kaedah analisis kandungan. Data yang dikenal pasti, dikumpul dan dianalisis daripada sumber bertulis dan bercetak sedia ada seperti jurnal, tesis dan sebagainya. Dapatan kajian menemukan sebanyak 11 teknik hafazan al-Quran iaitu mendengar, mempelajari, membaca, menunjuk, memahami, memadan, melukis, menyebut, mengingati, serta mengulang dan menulis. Secara keseluruhannya, teknik hafazan ini bersesuaian dengan perkembangan kognitif kanak-kanak. Pada masa yang sama, dapat membentuk generasi huffaz yang berkualiti dan berkemajuan mengikut peredaran zaman.

There are many methods or algorithms applicable for detecting electricity theft. However, comparative studies on supervised learning methods for electricity theft detection are still insufficient. In this paper, comparisons based on predictive accuracy, recall, precision, AUC, and F1-score of several supervised learning methods such as decision tree (DT), artificial neural network (ANN), deep artificial neural network (DANN), and AdaBoost are presented and their performances are analyzed. A public dataset from the State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) was used for this study. The dataset consisted of power consumption in kWh unit. Based on the analysis results, the DANN outperforms compared to other supervised learning classifiers such as ANN, AdaBoost, and DT in recall, F1-Score, and AUC. A future research direction is the experiments can be performed on other supervised learning algorithms with different types of datasets and suitable preprocessing methods can be applied to produce better performance.
