Ameloblastoma: Report of two Cases and A Brief Literature Review

Abstract: The tumour is by far more common in the mandible than in the maxilla and shows predilection for various parts of the mandible in different racial groups 4. The relative frequency of the mandible to maxilla is reported as varying from 80-20%. It often presents as a slow growing, painless swelling, causing expansion of the cortical bone, perforation of the lingual and or buccal plates and infiltration of soft tissue.
