Abstract:Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) presents a notably challenging surface for enhancing its adhesion properties. Here, a surface modification of PTFE via atmospheric pressure nitrogen plasma is presented. This treatment produces peel strength values comparable to conventional wet chemical treatments.
