Alternative splicing of pericentrin contributes to cell cycle control in cardiomyocytes

Abstract: Induction of cardiomyocyte proliferation is a promising option to regenerate the heart. Thus, it is important to elucidate mechanisms that contribute to the cell cycle arrest of mammalian cardiomyocytes.
