Alteration of renal function by potassium bromate (KBrO3): Protective effects of Launaea procumbens

Abstract: Potassium bromate (KBrO 3 ) is a nephrotoxin which causes renal oxidative stress and cancer in experimental animal. In the present study, nephroprotective effects of Launaea procumbens against KBrO 3 induced renal function toxicity were determined. In this study, 24 male albino rats (180 to 200 g) were divided into 4 groups.
