Alpha-gamma equalization-enhanced hand radiographic image segmentation scheme

Abstract: Bone age assessment of children is a procedure frequently performed in pediatric radiology. The feature extractions of metaphyseal and epiphyseal regions are crucial to automatic bone age assessment.
